Create History: Design our 50th Anniversary Logo
In celebration of Haymarket Center’s 50th anniversary, we’re inviting our community to help us create a commemorative logo that represents the spirit of recovery, hope, and transformation.
A panel of Haymarket Center stakeholders and patients will review all submissions and select the winning design, which will be revealed at our 50th Anniversary Gala on Friday, April 25!
The winner will receive a $500 prize and two tickets to the Gala.
Here are some guidelines that you need to follow in order to be eligible for the contest (failure to follow these guidelines may result in disqualification):
Contest Rules & Criteria
- The logo should represent the mission and values of Haymarket Center.
- The design must be derived from Haymarket Center’s current logo, with added elements to signify our 50th anniversary.
- The design should reflect the sensitivity of the treatment process.
- Use colors that evoke healing, calmness, and positivity including neutral tones and Haymarket’s brand colors (#38533f, # 85a23c, # 004c73, # 004c73, #0098d1, #c7b579, #646464). Avoid harsh or overly bright colors that could be overwhelming.
- Choose clean, readable fonts. Avoid overly complex or decorative fonts that could make the logo hard to read.
- The logo should be simple and easily scalable.
- The logo should be unique and distinguishable from other treatment centers or healthcare-related logos.
- The logo should align with the facility’s overall brand message and voice, which might include themes like recovery, hope, community, and transformation.
- The submission must be original artwork and created solely by the entrant.
- The logo should not contain any third party trademarks, copyrighted materials or inappropriate content.
- Each participant may submit up to (3) logo designs as separate entries.
- The design should incorporate our current logo with subtext related to our anniversary such as “50th Anniversary”, “50 Years,” or “50 Years of Impact”. The font should be: Montserrat, Minion Pro, or Helvetica.
- The winning design should be submitted as high resolution; 300dpi and be at least 1920px on the shortest side.
- Submitted in full color and monochrome versions to ensure versatility and transparent background files for flexibility in use.

Submission Information
- The contest period will run Jan. 21, 2025 at 9 a.m. CST through February 25, 2025 at 5 p.m. CST.
- Submit your design(s) via Google Drive.
Evaluation and Selection
The design will be reviewed by a committee and evaluated based on:
- Relevance: How well does the logo reflect the mission and values?
- Creativity: How unique and original is the design?
- Simplicity: Is the logo simple, clear, and easy to recognize?
- Versatility: Does the logo work across various platforms and mediums?
- Emotional Appeal: Does the logo evoke a sense of hope and transformation?
Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility: The contest open to residents of the United States of America who complete an official entry. Entrants must be 18 years old. Individuals currently seeking treatment at Haymarket Center are not eligible.
- Notification: The winner will be notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, an alternative winner will be selected. The winning design will be revealed to the public at Haymarket’s 50th Anniversary Gala on Friday, April 25, 2025 and shared through social media and email following the event.
- Prize: The selected winner will be awarded $500 and 2 tickets to the 50th Anniversary Haymarket Gala. No additional compensation will be provided beyond this reward.
- Disqualification: Haymarket reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not comply with the submission guidelines or terms and conditions. Haymarket also reserves the right to choose no winner if no design is deemed to meet the needs of the organization.
- Hold Harmless: By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Haymarket and its employees, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, liability, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance and use of the prize(s).
- Originality: By submitting, the entrant confirms that their submission is their original work and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
- Modification: Haymarket reserves the right to modify the winning design or make minor adjustments to adhere to branding. The entrant agrees to work with Haymarket Center to generate a final design for use as Haymarket’s 50th Anniversary logo.
- Ownership & Usage: The winning logo will become the property of Haymarket Center, and Haymarket will hold all rights to the design, including modification and distribution, in perpetuity. Entrants grant Haymarket an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, license to use, modify, and reproduce the logo design for all purposes, including but not limited to promotional and commercial purposes.
