Founded in 1975 by Monsignor Ignatius “Father Mac” McDermott, Haymarket Center pioneered the approach of treating addiction as a disease, not a crime. Today, we remain Illinois’ largest community-based treatment facility, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to underserved populations.
