Presented by Dr. Kenyata M. Fletcher, PhD, LPC, CRADC
Haymarket Center, Chicago’s largest community-based substance use disorder treatment center, proposed to reduce opioid-related overdoses by expanding outreach and direct treatment services to 350 individuals over four years in opioid “hot spots” in Cook and DuPage County.
The focus has been on Cook County hospitals, homeless encampments, Cook County Courts, and DuPage County medical centers by providing Medication Assisted Treatment options, Naloxone Education and kits, and Fentanyl Kits.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Fletcher has worked in the SUD field for 18 years. She has a Doctorate in Human Services with a Public Health specialization. She attended Concordia University at River Forest and Walden University where she obtained two master’s degrees in Community Counseling, specializing in mental health and administration.
Her research involved looking at the barriers to care from a provider perspective for people living with HIV in urban and rural clusters.
Dr. Fletcher has experience working on multiple federal grants that have worked towards interventions and preventative measures relating to HIV, opioid crises, MAT healthcare, and incidents related interruption of care continuums. She has also worked in inpatient, outpatient, and recovery home settings.
